You may be given a numbing cream before the injection to ensure your comfort. We then use a fine needle or blunt-tip cannula for a precise, comfortable application. You may feel a light pressure or quick pinch, but most people find it very tolerable. The process is fast and precise.
Once the treatment is complete, you’ll receive easy-to-follow instructions. Mild redness, swelling, or bruising is common and usually fades within a few days. You can return to most of your usual activities right after your visit, making this a great option even for busy schedules.

- Do not touch, rub, or press the treated areas for the first 24 hours.
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours after your Juvéderm® injection.
- Refrain from intense workouts, saunas, or hot showers for 48 hours.
- You can gently apply a cold pack to reduce swelling.
- Avoid scheduling dental appointments or facial massages for at least 2 weeks.
