AcneScars with Ematrix
It has the distinction of being applicable in all types of skin! Obtaining results similar to those achieved with risky and aggressive treatments, which also have the disadvantage of not being applicable onto skins other than the whitest ones. In darker skins tones, these treatments (deep chemical peeling, laser ablative CO2) have high risks of hyperpigmentation, skin blemishes, skin burns, skin discoloration, and scars. Because of all these reasons many people were left without the possibility of treating their scars.
Thus it happened that to increase the probability of scars improvement with these treatments, they had to be more aggressive and have higher risk of complications. Unfortunately the best results, were only possible with very invasive treatments, such as deep medical scrubs (which can be performed with laser-CO2 laser resurfacing, or with various acids- deep chemical peeling-), but as we mentioned with the drawback of possible serious side effects (skin blemishes, skin burns, skin discoloration, scars), andbe unsuitablefor mosttypes of skin.
The action of eMatrix ™ causes morphological changes within the skin that impacts the surface of it, which softens irregularities and improves them noticeably. When we talk about irregularities, we include acne scars, which aredepressions orsubsidence. The treatment diminishes the depressions, shortens the subsidence, improves and removes acne spots. Patients are satisfied and pleased with the degree of improvement obtained with the ematrix in their scars and most of them considerrecommending it to others.
Ematrix for Stretch Marks
This innovative technology for stretch marks has shown satisfactory results with a drastic reduction of hyper pigmentation risk, therefore it canbe applied to anyskin type. In the past, many strong treatments for stretch marks could not be applied to people with skin types on the darker side. Examples of these treatments include trichloroacetic acid peeling, dermabrassion in the stretch marks, the ablative CO2 laser, etc. Therefore, for many people there was no solution, no possibility of improving their stretch marks. Now with eMatrix ™ this changed. Ematrix ™ acts mainly on the dermis of the skin, which is the skin’s inner layer and not visible, leaving the epidermis (external, visible layerof the skin) almost intact.
When the fractional radiofrequency impacts the dermis tissue, coagulation occurs in dermal tissue parts, this is partial ablation, that is to say intense heat eliminates dermal tissue and cells' points. Healing processes are triggered within the skin generating new cells, new collagen (colagenogénesis) and therefore new dermal tissue. Histologically, it has been documented that the exclusive action of the eMatrix ™ produces morphological changes in the skin, which affects the surface of it, smoothing out irregularities and improving them dramatically. When we talk of irregularities, we include stretch marks, which are, in short, linear scars of different color and width. The treatment diminishes or eliminates stretch marks and is also effective in long-standing white streaks. Logically new stretch marks, red or pink, have a greater chance of improvement.
